Sofi Summer Pinks

For this school project, I developed a new product line for Sofi Nail Lacquer. This new lineup of colors was developed for the Summer season. In the creative brief, I learned that my target audience was largely comprised of young women and that the brand preferred a clean modern design aesthetic. In order to achieve my client’s desire for this simple aesthetic I limited my color pallet to five colors and kept busy background textures to a minimum. I used floral imagery, sun, clouds, and bright vibrant lighting with the product renderings in order to invoke a seasonal tone to the landing page. For the social media section, I shot footage of young feminine hands and nails and composited them together with my product renderings in order to create a series of graphically appealing gridded animations.
